How can I set a recipient role just for review document but no need to sign before another recipient who need to sign?

Best answer by Community Expert

Use Signing Order and the signing type of "Needs to View". So as an example, create a new envelope, add two Recipients, check Signing Order, add the first Recipient as "1" and set to signing type of "Needs to View", add the second Recipient as "2" and set the signing type to "Needs to Sign".

Thanks but sorry that there is no option of "Needs to View", do you know why?

Found this in page 88 of the DocuSign User Guide....

"Note: The Needs to View recipient action is equivalent to the Acknowledge Receipt feature in the classic experience. Some recipient actions are available for select plans only and may not be included in your account."

So it is account plan specific, I didnt see further details on what plans have this feature, but DocuSign Support or Sales would likely be able to provide specifics.
