Question

Client returned paper in person

Forum|alt.badge.img

I sent documents for my client to sign.  Instead of completing the file, they printed it, signed the page and brought it to me.  Do I have to delete or void the original request to remove it from the “waiting for others” or can I tag it as complete somehow?

Hello @jhenning

Thank you for reaching out here in Docusign Community.

When a recipient print & sign the document, they should scan and upload it in the envelope in order to complete the signing session.

The document they printed should have an envelope ID located at the top left side of each page.

Failure to complete the envelope could make the document invalid.

Most of the senders disable this feature and only enable it if needed, or if the recipient requests.

This can be disable by going to Admin > Signing Settings > Recipients > Allow recipients to sign on paper
