How to change the form field

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I have already filled the fields on my pdf form.  I drag it to start getting  signatures, somehow, a pop up says

“We found form fields for MY FILE NAME.pdf”

and all the information I typed in on my form are gone???

HOW DO I CHANGE IT TO KEEP MY PDF AS IS WITH MY TYPED INFORMATION?

Thanks!

Hello @HPMG ,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Docusign Community. Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

When filling out fields from PDF document prior to uploading to Docusign, it is recommended to print the PDF as a new PDF file to flatten and remove the editable fields.

This way the information you have entered on the fields will no longer be editable and become part of the document itself so that Docusign will not convert as our form fields.

Let us know if you need further assistance with this.
