Is there a way to validate that an attachment is max 4MB and file types are JPG, PNG, or PDF?  Ideally, we would have the customer submit with the appropriate size and type so we do not have to manipulate.

I am unaware of any current DocuSign feature that allows you to set a “validation” when creating a new envelope from a Template regarding a size limitation of the attachment or the type of file extension the attachment.  The typical account default for envelope document attachments is 25MB per file attachment.  I believe this is set at an Account level so perhaps you could create a DocuSign Support case and ask for a reduction in that limit. However, there is nothing in the Admin Settings that would allow you to manipulate that size value.

Best option: If using a Powerform you could add Landing Page instructions on what is acceptable to add as an attachment regarding size and file type.
