Has anyone seen, or know the solution, beyond removing security from our base document?

My workaround has been to do a 'print to pdf' (for me "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer option). This creates a file that I can successfully use in DocuSign.

Hi,

Welcome to the DocuSign Support Community!

DocuSign cannot access a document that has been encrypted/secured by another program.

I have my doubts about this but you can reach out to the software company that generated the encryption to see if they know of a way to remove the security.

Hi,

DocuSign Support stated that this should be working as it had for us prior to this month, and may be related to a new version released earlier this month.   This is Adobe Acrobat edit-protection only (to assure legal verbiage is not alterned), not access protection.

I'm awaiting an updated from the Support Center.

Latest is the fix is supposed to be released this summer.

I am receiving this error. Is this still an issue. This thread is from 2 years ago?
