Sign the document yourself and then send for signature

HI 

I need to sign a document (on docusign with my electronic signature) before sending the contract to besigned by others electronically and returned. I have read all the guidance but cannot see how to do this. Any help appreciated!

Just include yourself as Recipient #1 and then have everyone else with a Signing Order of 2 or greater. Make sure to actually assign yourself signature fields on the document before sending the envelope.

If you want to be a Signer on the envelope, you actually have to be a recipient on the envelope. Otherwise what you're referring to is simply placing a signature on a document without confirmation, which means you could be doing it with someone else's signature and thus defeating the whole purpose of electronic veririfation.
