I am using a template created with DocuSign Apps Launcher for Salesforce.  The recipients are dynamic and have contact records in Salesforce.  The template is referencing an object that has a lookup to the contact in Salesforce.  The Salesforce default email address is in a standard field called Email and the template uses that email address for the send.

Is it possible to set the field that the template references to a field other than the standard Email field in Salesforce?

Thanks for your help!

Scott

Hi @S finn,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

You can update your Envelope Template’s configuration in DocuSign Apps Launcher>eSignature>Docusign Envelope Templates>Actions dropdown next to the template to edit>Edit. Once there you can update the record or field used in your by default for your recipient, during the Add Recipients step of the Envelope Template creation process. For more details on the options available in this specific step, see:

Step 3: Add Recipients to Your Template

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.
