Hello,

Are “DS Viewer” permissions enough in order to have access to “Sign a Document” feature (where you are uploading a document and signing it, without sending or receiving)?

Cheers

Hello @Nika ,

Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

Unfortunately, the “DS viewer” permission profile is not enough to be able to use the “Sign a Document” feature, They would need to be able to send envelopes to have the option however, any document that is sent to them for signature by a third party can be easily accessed and signed with a DS viewer or even without an account as they would only need to sign.

Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Hi, thank you for your answer!

Is it possible to archive such a document (signed with “Sign a document” feature) to SharePoint, e.g. using Agreement rules? Can we add Document or Envelope custom fields to the document?

Regards

Nika
