Trigger condition for PowerAutomate Flow - Docusign - for When an Evelope status changes

Hi Everyone,

I am seeking some help with writting a trigger condition for my Docusign flow in Power Automate.

I am using the trigger “When an evelope status changes” and have it set to “envelope-completed”.

 

I want the trigger to go off when the Subject starts with “Commercial Proposal submitted - Ringmer - T0079 -”.

Could anyone suggest the code that I need to use please? Any help will be greatly accepted. :-)

Have you reviewed the Blog Expanding Power Automate Series: Common post-signing tasks, this blog post explores six common tasks in Power Automate that can be performed after an envelope has been completed. These tasks include triggering a flow, getting document field data, and getting attachments. These tasks can be used to meet specific business needs such as collecting contract data and attachments in procurement, creating an employee profile in HR onboarding, and provisioning a new license in sales.

Please be aware that triggering based on the subject line is not the best practice, the subject lines are too brittle and easy for senders to make changes around with and things can get missed. You can set up the trigger to look for specific conditions before it even runs, however, the downside is that you are not getting any logging. An alternative is to use a downstream condition action, which will give you logging, but there will be a log for every single envelope that comes through, whether it meets the condition or not, you can use Envelope Custom Fields to set the triggers.

Hi ​@Christopher.Alpizar ,

I have a request similar to Nigel’s and can confirm that my plan does not support envelope custom fields and thus cannot use that as a condition for my trigger. Can you suggest some alternative conditions that can be used?
