Hello,

I am using the createBulkSendRequest() function from docusign.BulkEnvelopesApi to send a bulk signing request to 20-30 signers. However, I would also like to send a carbon copy of the documents to the manager.

Currently, adding the manager as a carbon copy (CC) recipient in the bulk list results in the manager receiving 20-30 individual emails—one for each signer. Is there a way to send a bulk request to 20-30 recipients while ensuring the manager receives only one email or a single copy of the documents?

Thank you.

@kenhare

No, there is not way to have the manager receive only a single notification or email while still bulk-sending separate envelopes. Each envelope is an independent entity.

Hello,

You can add carbon copy (CC) recipients at any stage in the signing process. The CC recipients will receive a copy of the document, including all signatures and information completed by earlier signers. If you want the CC recipients to view the envelope only after all signers have completed their part, place them last in the signing order.

With Bulk Send API request, the manager will receive multiple notifications since it’s sending documents individually to each user. This would give the CC a notification every time a document is complete.

Please let me know if this helps!
