Question

Save and insert last used signature

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

Hello Community,

Signatories without a DocuSign account have forgotten an important prefix when signing for the very first time. So they added this prefix in front of their name the second time they signed the document. On the third document, they are again offered the first signature without the prefix and have to change it again. Why doesn't DocuSign save the last signature used?

Hello Marco,

most of the recipients do not have an own DocuSign-Account so this procedure does not work for them. They do not need an account because they just sign and never send an envelope.

Hello @Katrin,

I’m sorry for the confusion. It could be that the recipient did not hit the save button to keep their signature.

This window appears when a recipient signs an envelope for the first time even if they don't have an account.

You may advise them to make sure to check in that box that says “Save my signature and initials for next time”.
