When running an envelope report by user, one of the columns is titled “Recipient Name” most of the entries in that column say “Multiple Recipients” while only a few have the recipient’s actual name.  Why is that?  Our template is setup to have one signer and one other person receives a copy.

This is expected behavior for any envelopes with more than 1 recipients in its signing order. Does this match your scenario?

You can try the following…

  1. In the Envelope Report, you can select Edit Columns and add the Template ID and/or Template Name. If templates were used, you can review how those templates were set up. 
  2. Look at the Envelope Recipient Report, as this will show you recipient names and routing orders.
  3. You can use Shared Access to view the envelopes of users who sent single envelopes to multiple recipients.
