Is there a way to add information in a text box that does not overlap the textbox?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

I'm not quite understanding your question, can you please clarify?

Are you asking if there is a way to wrap up text? If so, then once you add a text field on the envelope, simply click the Formatting option displaying on the right side of your screen when selecting the field and check "Fixed Width": https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=ulp1643236876813&topicId=ugr1578456275295.html&_LANG=enus

I am not sure how many characters a text box accepts in the regular font. Will the font size get smaller if the number of characters exceeds the text box? Does the text box record the number of characters, they just won't appear or print on the for

Hello,

Thank you for back.

A Text Field has a limit of 4 000 characters, it doesn't matter the size of the font, this will not change if the characters exceed the size of the text box (the size of the text box is what changes, not the font size). What fixed width will do is make the text box go down instead of across.
