How do I put my real signature on documents versus the ones that are preset? Thanks

I understand you would like to use your actual signature to sign documents.

Sure, this can be possible by creating a signature and either uploading a picture of your signature or using our draw option: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=jux1643235969954&topicId=xmt1578456441423.html&_LANG=enus

In the case where your saved signature does not show, you can use the option to upload or draw during the signing process: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=yca1573855023892&topicId=dga1573854990297.html&_LANG=enus

Please note that depending on the settings of the sender's account, the option to upload or draw might not be available.

Hi,

We have the opposite issue. We would like signers to only be able to use the Docusign preset signatures, we do not want signers signing with handwritten or drawn signatures.

How do we prevent them from doing that?

Sure, to have your signers only use adopted signatures instead of drawn or uploaded, you would need your admin to go to:

  1. Settings
  2. Signing Settings
  3. Select the hyperlink "Signature Adoption Configuration": https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=pik1583277475390&topicId=dqc1583277355406.html&_LANG=enus
  4. Select the options "Disable Draw Signature" and "Disable Upload Signature": https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=pik1583277475390&topicId=srv1583277356044.html&_LANG=enus
  5. Save
