Hi everyone! 

We want to create templates but we don't have a administrator role. I believe we then can still create templates but we need to have specific permissions. How can our administrator change our permissions so that we can create and change our own templates?

I’d suggest:

  1. Your admin create a new custom permission profile called something like ‘Template creator’ 
  2. When doing so, they should select the ‘Share’ permission level in the ‘Template section. This will allow you to create, use and share templates with other users.
  3. In your user settings, they can assign the newly created ‘Template creator’ permission profile assigned to your user profile

Your administrator needs to set up a new permission profile and assign you as users to it.

It is probably best to make a copy from the “DS Sender” profile and update the “Templates” dropdown from “Use” to either “Create” or “Share”. It is best practise to select a clear name, e.g. “DS Sender with Templates”. 

Those users with the new permission profile are able to create templates or create and share templates, depending on what value you selected in the dropdown.
