Hi @Charan Balam !
This error is related to when a user tries to update the notification or reminder settings on an envelope when they aren't allowed to do so. You should be able to resolve this error by enabling the following setting:
Settings > Reminders and Expiration > check "Allow senders to override account defaults"
Can you please enable the above setting and see if it fixes your error? Sometimes this feature will only work for envelopes created after your settings update.
For more information, please access this article: Set Account Reminders and Expiration Defaults
Please, let me know if this suggestion worked for you!

Hello,
I want to extend the expiration date of my envelope. Can you tell me how i can make this change ? Thx
Hi @najette,
Welcome to the Docusign Community—thanks for posting your question!
To extend the expiration for an envelope:
- Log into Docusign and locate the envelope.
- Correct the envelope.
- From the options on the top-right, select Advanced Options.

- In the Expiration section, increase the value of Number of days before request expires by however many additional days you would like to extend the expiration*, then select Save:
- This number always counts from the date the envelope was first sent to the first signer. If you reduce the current value, the envelope will expire sooner.
- The maximum expiration available is 999 days. If you set the value to 0, this will cause the envelope to expire in less than one day.

- Select Next in the upper-right corner, then Correct to save your changes
*If this value is grayed out or not in an editable text box, then it cannot be modified for this envelope. It may be locked down from the Template used to create the envelope or the expiration settings may be locked down for the account by your Administrator.
If the envelope has expired before all parties signed, it cannot be corrected or reopened. You'll need to create and send a new envelope.
