Hello, I have a quick question on DocuSign and the button ‘Approve’. I set up a document for, in order:

  1. someone to ‘approve’
  2. someone to sign

The first person did ‘approve’. However, when it reached the second person for signing, that second person could not see that the person (1) had ‘approve’ and therefore that it was ok to sign.

Please can you let me know how we can correct this so the signatory (person (2)) can see that the document has been approved by the ‘approver’.

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

The approve button is not one that shows on the document, not for the signer nor in the completed document, it will only show in the certificate of completion, and, unfortunately, it can not be set for it to appear. However, if the document continued to the signer it is because it was approved, if the 'Approver' were to decline it would automatically void the document and a new one would need to be sent out:https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=ulp1643236876813&topicId=vfk1578456408630.html&_LANG=enus
