We recently converted from SpringCM to Docusign CLM and I am not sure of the difference between these two products. The layout is essentially the same, so what does CLM do that SpringCM didn’t or couldn’t do?

Hey there, as Adam_Dessurne mentioned, they should be pretty much the same. Here’s a laundry list of differences of which I’m aware:
- The Log In screen looks different
- Apps Switcher
- This allows for switching between eSignature, CLM, Org Admin, and Insight in CLM.DS (aka CLM)
- Home Page
- For CLM Admins, the Admin button in the top menu bar has been moved from the left side to the right side
- User Management
- Users are now managed through Docusign Admin, rather than via CLM
- User Permission Profiles
- The permission profiles for CLM now have different names, and the Guest permission profile no longer exists
- Group Management
- Groups are now managed through Docusign Admin, rather than via CLM
- Reports
- The interface has changed
- Workflow reports and Document reports are in a single view
- Search
- The search box has been converted to an icon in the top menu bar
- Electronic Signature Configuration
- CLM.DS (aka CLM) only supports integrated with Docusign eSignature, while CLM.CM allowed for integrating with other eSignature applications
- Document Editing
- If you used the SpringCM Edit functionality previously, you may need to setup Docusign Edit functionality now
- Dashboard
- Existing Docusign CLM customers will continue to have the option to use Classic or Beta
Dashboards or both. New Docusign CLM customers will use only the new Dashboard
- Existing Docusign CLM customers will continue to have the option to use Classic or Beta
