Web Form Redirect Url

Question

I want to create a Web Form that redirects after completing the form to a custom URL with a query string. So, I’d like to redirect to something like: https://example.com?id={a-unique-id-from-docusign}. I’m not a developer, and I don’t have access to the API. I also am not interested in embedding web forms on my site. I’m happy to redirect to DocuSign and then redirect back with the id. Is it possible to do what I’m asking through the customer web portal? The only similar answers I see are almost all under the developer tag and provide answers that require directly interacting with the DocuSign API.

Hello @Mark Rucker,Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!Docusign offers a feature with in the Docusign User Interface called “Destination URLs” that allows an account to determine where they want the signer to end up after finishing a document. This feature, however, is a global setting configured under brands, meaning that it will affect all documents sent using that brand and not just specific ones (unless you have multiple brands and can configure them using different destination URLs), this also applies to Web Forms. Thank you Nathaly! Yes, I’d seen that but it doesn’t really work for us. We’re a research lab at the University of Virginia, and we were hoping to use UVA’s DocuSign account to manage our consent process. Not being able toset a custom redirect URL for our clinical consent process is kind of a deal breaker for us (i.e.,apart from asking the university to change the redirect for every group at the university).
