Have you noticed some of your users' personal agreements get mixed in with their business agreements in the same account? It’s common for businesses to expand their usage of Docusign across their organizations and see users have personal Docusign accounts that were opened with their work email addresses. Work-related agreements are now in an external account and are not controlled or protected through your corporate privacy and compliance guidelines. 🧩 Docusign Admin & Organization 

 

Step 1: Set up Docusign Admin. Docusign Admin is a management solution that empowers you to control and manage your company's use of Docusign and connects accounts and users to support your entire Docusign infrastructure.

 

Step 2: Create your organization. An organization is a centralized framework that allows you to control how Docusign eSignature is used within your company. 

 

📧 Domain Management

 

Claim your company’s email domain. This allows you to view and manage all users who have a Docusign account, set up authentication policies like single sign-on (SSO), and prevent employees from setting up accounts outside the Admin’s control.  

 

👀 Identify Account Types

 

Your organization has a Bulk Actions feature that allows you to export a list of all employees using a Docusign membership in external accounts that are not under your organization’s control. The exported list gives you great insight into designing your plan for multiple account management.  

 

🏁 Define & Implement Corporate Account Policies 

 

Once you’ve identified all of the external accounts, decide how you want to manage them and transfer business agreements out of the external accounts. There are a few options to consider:

  • Link the accounts to bring them into your organization. 
  • Close trial and “freemium” accounts or any paid accounts employees set up with their business emails.
