Hi,

I have a user that has signed several documents in the past, but cannot see any of them in his history.  where can i find these?

Hi @eopalka,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

The best course of action would be to access the missing document through the email notification’s link. Once there, they will be able to find the Envelope ID, either at the top of the document or, by clicking on Other Actions>View History. With the envelope ID they will be able to access the envelope by pasting it into the following URL:  https://app.docusign.com/documents/details/{envelopeid}

For detailed steps on this process, see:

Locate a Docusign envelope ID

If the envelope has no folder listed, this could be the cause behind why it is not included on their Agreements page. To correct this behavior they can move the envelope to the correct folder by following the instructions below:

Move Envelopes Into Folders

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Best regards,

so by default, just because you signed a document you may not be able to see that document after signing under the signers account?

Hi @eopalka,

Thank you for following up.

A signer’s ability to view an envelope on the website’s dashboard will depend on whether or not they own an active Docusign user in the server where the envelope was created, and if the envelope is owned by said user. There will be scenarios in which the envelope could be assigned to a second user, and other less common scenarios where it will still be assigned to the right user, but has no folder assigned. This last scenario is caused by a system malfunction when defining the envelope’s parameters, but can be corrected by following the steps provided in my first comment.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I will address them as soon as possible.
