I have a trial account, but it doesn't allow me to sign then send. Why?

I apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause you, we are committed to providing you with the best service possible. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, I understand that you have a free trial account but it does not allow you to sign and then send envelopes.

 

To better assist you, could you clarify if you are trying to sign the envelope first before sending the envelope?

My financial planner sent me documents to sign.  I am only the signer not the owner of their Docusign account. So your doocusign insists on using my personal account and not the planners and so will not allow me to sign with the password the planner sent to me.  Then it wants me to select another email, which I do not have.  This isn’t the first time I have end up driving 10 miles to the planner’s office to sign in person.  So much for modern technology!

Is the behavior the same regardless of the sender?

 

Are you trying to access the envelope through the Docusign Website or the email notification?

 

Have you tried the below troubleshooting:

 

  • Clear cache/cookies
  • Try a different browser(s)
  • Try an Incognito window
  • Try a different device
  • Try a different Internet network, such as on a mobile device using data with Wi-Fi disabled.
  • Try using VPN, or if on one already, disconnect from VPN and try again
  • Please try the Alternative Signing Method
