Tab inactive with Envelope

Trying to prepare and send an envelope to a client.  I am currently unable to enter information and complete fields within the Envelope - the only way I can add Text is in the Add Text box to the right of the envelope.  How do I correct this?

Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

Are you saying that if you do a double click on the fields during the preparation stage it is not giving you the option to enter information, you can only do so by selecting the field and going to “Add text”, is that right?

If so, does this happen in other browsers as well?

Yes, that is exactly what is happening - only in DocuSign.  No other browswers.
