Hello!



I am tring to find a way for an Admin Assistant to send out an envelope so that it appears as though it is coming from the Executive they support. We are using basic DocuSign and no APIs. What is the best way to accomplish this so that our customers (the signers) receive the documents from the Executive, as they have come to expect? We do not want the Executive to take the time to set up the document.

An admin can set up (https://support.docusign.com/en/guides/ndse-admin-guide-custody-transfer) custody transfer rules so that the Assistant can create and send an enevlope and it will be immediately transferred to the Exec and sent from their account. Take note that this is pretty much an all or nothing. When the rule is active all envelopes are transferred to the Exec from the assistant, so if the assistant needs to send their own then the rule needs to be turned off.



Additionally you can set and API call with (https://developers.docusign.com/esign-soap-api/reference/Introduction-Changes/Send-On-Behalf-Of-Functionality) Send of Behalf Of functionality to send as the Exec.
