Hello, I am wondering if there is a way that recipients can upload additional documents while signing their portion.

Yes, DocuSign allows you to request both a signature and additional documents from the signer within the same transaction. This is done using Signer Attachments Tag, which are fields you can include in the envelope for the signer to upload requested files.
