Recipient required for templates?

Question

I would like to set up a contract template without entering in a recipient.  Idea is that when I have a new client I can just update the template with their project info and send to them but it’s requiring that I enter a recipient to create a template, seems very counterintuitive, what’s the best practice here?

@STCATXTemplates should only require the “Role” to be entered but you can leave the Name and Email address blank so that you fill out that information when the envelope is created by selecting“Use”. Try that and see if that allows you to advance to the tagging screen without error.
