How does everyone handle when you need more than one signature (like a couple), but only have one email address?

Hi @TammyLB,

Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

You are able to add 2 signers with the same email address as part of your recipient's list, as long as these do not share the same name as well. In the case that you might need to add the same name and email combination twice, you would need to enable a signing order for the envelope and assign different positions to each of them.

 Also, in rare scenarios, the first option might fail. In this case, I would suggest enabling a signing order and assigning the recipients different positions in it. For more details on these topics, see:

@TammyLB

It may also be helpful to let the signers know that they will each receive an email which is linked to their signature. For example John and Jane Smith -let them know that the email addressed to Jane will have a link which will ONLY sign Jane’s name, So, they can’t go in with Jane’s email and sign both names. John will need to follow the link in the email addressed to him to sign his name.

good luck
