i believe this is regarding PDF level .but we only have workaround and no complete fix from DocuSign.

This is displaying incorrectly because the uploaded PDF format is currently not supported in DocuSign.

Hi , I have 2 such case received from our user, that they have this black signature issue. flattening document always not be the best solution. as user want normal signature and dont want to go through extra hustle. can DocuSign take a note of this and do some changes inorder to support such documents. previously it never happned.

let me know if you have alternate suggestions.

Thank you for reaching back.

The main reason why that happens is due to the document uploaded having the wrong format. You can contact customer support so that they can take a look at the document and inform you what exactly is that is not making the document supported so that it can be removed from it, and you can upload it to DocuSign: https://support.docusign.com/en/contactSupport 

If you’re not able to open a Customer Support case via the above link, you can scroll down the page to “More Support Options” and select "I can't reset my password or don't have an account." You will have different options to contact Support.

Otherwise the best option would be to flatten the document.

Any feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always more than welcome. 

We’ll provide it to the Product team that is closely aligned with the area associated with the feedback. They will review it and determine the next steps.

In the near future, we will have a Community section that is dedicated to customer suggestions/feedback. You all will have the ability to upvote on what’s important and needed. 

If you’re a DocuSign Administrator for a corporate plan, you have the additional option of filing your request directly when you’re logged into your account. You’ll be able to click the “Give Feedback” button at the bottom of the screen in order to submit your idea.

I have already know this temp solution. I believe my colleague has already raised a ticket with DocuSign , the resolution is slow from support team and i was searching some information on the issue.anyway , we already have this information. thanks so far. Have a great day ahead!
