I have 40 documents to be signed two parties. The first party (Party A) will always be the same (in other words, Party A will sign all 40 documents). The counter-signing second party will be different for each of the 40 documents.
My question is: How do I send all 40 documents to Party A at the same time, while having the 40 counter-signers only receive their individual document (and not the 39 other documents that they will not be signing)?
Hello
Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!
I understand you are looking to send the same document to Party A at the same time and to their needed counter parties (and are looking for a more feasible way to do it).
You should consider using Bulk Sending.
With Bulk Sending, you can use a .csv list of your recipients and upload that file during the envelope creation process. Once the list is uploaded, the rest of the envelope creation workflow will remain the same as sending out a single envelope for signing.
You can find detailed instructions regarding how to set up a Bulk Send batch, here: Bulk Send for Multiple Recipients
We recommend coupling the Bulk Send process with a template. You’ll be able to download the data from the template’s .csv file, which includes column headers specific to your roles and fields (if needed).

I read through the “bulk send” instructions, and it appears that if I use that method, all 40 of the different Party B cosigners will receive copies of each others’ documents. I do not want that result. I want Party A (who will be signing all 40 documents) to receive all 40 documents to sign at the same time, while each of the 40 different cosigner Party B’s only receive the document that pertains to them.
You could look into using ‘document visibility’ to hide the other 39 documents from each member of party B. But that might be more work than just sending the 40 documents out individually to Party A & B(1-40).
good luck
