I have to make some small changes to an offer I received and I want to send back to the purchaser's agent and they don't use docusign.

Is there a way that I can edit a document before creating an envelope ?

Thank you for reaching back.
As mentioned before, if the changes are meant to be directly on the document, you would need to have it changed outside of DocuSign using a third-party and once completed, upload it back into DocuSign and send it out for signature.

I understand you would like to make changes directly to the document and have sent it to your purchaser's agent for review, is that correct?
If yes, unfortunately, the ability to edit the document directly within DocuSign is not possible, you would need to use a third-party application and send it to your purchaser's agent using a different method. Once they approve the changes or have the final document, you can upload it to DocuSign and send it for signature.
