I want to add the signer's name to the subject line of the email template, but the icon to show merge field options isn't showing. How can I add the merge field? I want to do this so that the final signed document name includes the signer's name.

Hello,

I recommend opening a case with DocuSign Support and requesting the support agent to review the current configuration at the backend to confirm if the feature is enabled or not.

A case is needed because the support agent will review Private information that cannot be disclosed in this public forum.

I apologize for the inconvenience, I understand that you do not see the option to merge the name of the signer to the envelope subject.

To better assist you, are you trying to add the merge field during the envelope creation or the template creation?

Hello! I don't see the merge field option at either stage - envelope-creation or template. I'd like to have it at the template stage but would be satisfied with either. Merge fields don't seem to be a feature listed on the plan comparison. I am the account administrator.
