Hi there! I have a contract I’m trying to turn into a template. There are fields in this contract I would like to make permeant so I can just change the recipient each time I send this off from my phone. Is there a way to do that? I see the option to set pre-filled fields… am I missing something? Please advise….

I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you, to assist you better? what type of fields are you trying to use? will it be regular fields? when creating a template all fields will remain where set them up on the document, please see To create a template; To create a template, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Templates page and select Start > Envelope Templates > Create a Template. 2. Enter a name and description for your template. 3. Add documents and recipient roles to your template. 4. Add named recipients if needed. 5. Set a routing order and authentication method if desired. 6. Define a standard message or add private messages for recipients. 7. Set advanced options if necessary. 8. Save and close your template. 9. Set signing fields for each recipient. 10. Optionally, pre-fill document fields. 11. Save and close your template. Your template is now ready to use.

Note: Some advanced features and options are supported only in specific Docusign plans. Your account plan might not support some of the options discussed in this help topic. Contact your account administrator for more information about which options are available for your account.
