We have a Real Estate contract that has been signed by all parties and we are ready to back out of the contract. The contract states that we have the right to back out. How do I cancel/ void a contract that's already been signed by both parties through docusign?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

Once a contract has been signed and completed through DocuSign, there isn't a way to void it. You would only be able to delete it (which will remove the contract from the account) or sent it to purge (which will remove the contract not only on your account but also the DocuSign cloud): https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=pik1583277475390&topicId=kcb1583277378645.html&_LANG=enus

Thank you for your reply.

If I delete it (which will remove the contract from the account) or sent it to purge (which will remove the contract not only on your account but also the DocuSign cloud), will we be released from the binding document? Or will I have to send a separate voided contract?

Hello,
