Hello,

We have noticed regarding the forward completed envelope option, that this option is not available, even if the setting is unchecked.

 

 

 

So the option to “Forward” envelopes is not available as you can see in the below screenshot.

Is it something we can select from the admin settings?

Can someone assist us with the above?

The "Prevent users from forwarding completed envelopes" setting, when enabled in DocuSign, hides the 'Forward' option from the sending experience for completed envelopes. This means that after the envelope has been signed and completed, users will not have the option to forward it from within the DocuSign interface. This is useful when organizations want to restrict further sharing of completed documents to ensure that only the original intended recipients can access them directly, enhancing control over document distribution​​.

What is it that you are trying to do? From where?


We are trying to enable the option to forward completed signed documents. Although the "prevent forward" option is disabled in the settings, we are still unable to forward the documents. The forward option is missing as you can see in the below image.

This setting allows recipients to delegate the signing responsibility to someone else. It cannot be configured at the sender level. If you anticipate that someone else will need a copy, you can set this up while preparing the envelope by using the 'Receives a Copy' option. After the document has been signed, you also have the option to forward the completed PDF to anyone who needs it.
