Do eSignature templates allow the creation of a one-up or automatically increasing number each time a PowerForm/Template is created? Ideally, we want to have a means of tracking documents with a smaller identifier than the envelope ID. Appreciate any insight!
No, there is no option available to have an automatically increasing number in DocuSign eSignature whenever a PowerForm/Template is created at this point in time. You could create an envelope custom field, but this would need to be manually increased by the sender and does not have a counter or similar available. When sending through an integration this can be achieved by adding the number into the payload.
