Hi all,

Just a quick question - if you use the "Sign a Document" feature when uploading a new document does this consume an envelope? I.e. do you have to pay just to place your signature on a document?

Many thanks,

Dan

Hi,

Welcome to the DocuSign Support Community!

Using the option "Sign a Document" doesn't count against the number of envelopes that are a part of your DocuSign subscription.

It is only when you "Send an Envelope" that would use one of your allotted envelopes.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

Thank you.

Doesn't seem to work anymore. Seems like the ability to do so has been disabled for the sake of profit. When I choose to "Sign a Document" and choose not to send it at the end after signing, the completion report shows that an envelope had been consumed.

Can you confirm what is accurate on this thread? Does the "Sign a Document" Feature Use an Envelope now?
