DocuSign Excel To PDF Conversion page size page scaling issue

We are facing scaling and page size issues when DocuSign automatically converts Excel files to PDF format. To provide a clearer understanding of the problem, I've attached a screenshot illustrating the exact issue.

Despite both sheets having identical page settings in excel the page size in converted PDF is not same for all the sheets

 

Our analysis and research have revealed that page scaling is influenced by four parameters: fitToPage, fitToHeight, fitToWidth, and Scale. We've diligently experimented with various combinations of these parameters within the Excel sheet XML, but unfortunately, the issue persists.

DocuSign honours the page settings from the Excel document to convert it. The outcome is the same as the one you see in the print preview in Excel. Orientation, margins and so on stay the same. If you tick the “scale to fit” checkbox it will result in the number of pages that you specify there. The column width is important, as it steers how much data will fit onto a page without scaling.

You can select print in Excel and output to a PDF, if the preview is too small for you to work with. Depending on your settings here and how it looks when saved as an Excel file, it will approximately look like in DocuSign. There may be a minimal difference due to the actual converting algorithm.

Instead of uploading an Excel file directly you can also save it as a PDF to ensure it looks the way you want before uploading it to DocuSign, which will not change an existing PDF file, as it is already the right format.

If it is properly formatted in Excel the outcome in DocuSign will be properly formatted. You need to update the underlying Excel file to achieve a good outcome. See attached Excel.
