Is there any way to change the date format of a signed document? I have changed it on the backend after sending but the signature still has the old format on the document.

Hello @oliviamallya

Welcome to the DocuSign Community!

I must say, Navigate to the eSignature Setting < Regional Settings and there you get the option to change the Format.

And if you are looking for specifically “signed date” field format then you can find that setting in the “Signing Setting”. refer the SS below

Thanks!

Thank you - I have completed these steps - but the documents that have already been signed still have the US time, not the Australian time I changed to.

Hi,

I have the same problem (there are several threads with this same discussion)

The date format appears to be set at the Admin level: if you are not an Admin then you cannot change it and you will not even see the relevant option for doing so. Here they mention this: Date format is not according to signer's timezone | Community

I have checked with the Admin in my company and it appears that they can only set one date format for the whole account - and given that I work in Europe for a company that’s based in the US, it means that I am stuck with the US format, frustratingly enough.
