Can you create an envelope with multiple templates?

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

Yes, you can select New > Use a template > and choose the first needed template. Once you have that, and you are in the "Add recipients" (if you do not see that, please select "Advanced edit") section, you can select "Upload" and choose the other needed templates. So the steps are the following:

  1. Select New
  2. Choose Use template
  3. Select the fist needed template
  4. Click on Advanced edit, if you don't see the option to upload more documents
  5. Select Upload
  6. Choose the other needed templates.

Thanks! and what happens to the recipients if they are different? All is sent to all?

Can this be done by API?

Once you add your templates, you will have the option to edit your recipients and add/remove any of them. Yes, an API can be created. However, to ensure that your API questions are properly addressed, we have a Developer Community that you can access by clicking the link below:

From the Developer Support homepage, you’ll be able to submit questions to DocuSign devs and customers via Stack Overflow and create a Support case that will go directly to a qualified developer for assistance.

And what happens to the reminders or notifications of each step pertaining individual templates on the envelope?

Regarding the reminders and expiration, the ones that will be applied will always be from the last template added however, if the option that allows the sender to override default is enabled, these can also be changed to the most convenient: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=pik1583277475390&topicId=azr1583277379565.html&_LANG=enus
