Can i turn a community question into a community idea?

Community users don’t have the option to turn questions into Ideas, but Community Moderators can help out with this process. A self service option that could work as a workaround would be deleting your question, and recreating it as an Idea.

This isn’t a good option. I should be able to do this with an option or button. I don’t want to have to type all of that back in again, attach documents etc.

Nevertheless, feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always welcome. I encourage you to consider submitting your idea for review by our development team for possible implementation. I think this is a good idea and It can save a lot of time. Additionally, if the person in charge of the idea does not reply to the participants, it will affect their confidence, and we hope that the responsible person can take the initiative to reply.

I agree that allowing more flexibility within our community will help enhance the overall user experience. However, I am unsure if our current platform supports this option on its front end. I sincerely believe that if there is not any technical roadblock preventing us from providing you with access to turn your question into an idea, our management team will gladly assess the possibility of enabling the option to all community users after the request is filed as an Idea.
