Can a hyperlink be in my templates email message? Any tips on how to do this will be much appreciated.

@Megan

You can just provide the URL, e.g. https://www.google.de

OR

inputting HTML code works as well, e.g.

<a href="https://www.google.de">Click here</a>

The email client of the recipient should display both options as a link in the email text:

Thank you so much for your help.

Thanks mrave & .Alejandro.Ramos I tried

replacing your <a href="https://www.google.de">Click here</a> with

 <a href="javascript:app.launchURL('https://www.symmetry.com/ssta', true);" style="color:#075699; font-weight:bold;">Agreement</a>

and my message “appears” to have a hyperlink (in that it is blue & my cursor changes when I hover over it) but when I click it nothing happens. I also cannot copy the link in hopes of pasting in a url.

Here’s my scenario:
Our Legal team wants to transition to a click wrap agreement for standard terms & conditions.
We use DocuSign from inside NetSuite. My NetSuite Quote contains an Agreement hyperlink to our HTML Subscription Service Documentation & Trial Agreement page.

I am having difficulty accomplishing this. The NetSuite electronic document hyperlink works

(re-directs me to the HTML Subscription Service Documentation & Trial Agreement page https://www.symmetry.com/ssta but when it is presented to DocuSign so that I can assign recipients the link no longer works.

I have dug through DocuSign help for options and find the concept of “Supplemental” documents, but this is awkward. (plus, I need an additional license)

Oddly, AFTER I test signed it then Opened the Completed document, the hyperlink works & I am re-directed as expected. Of course, I need the signor to be required to access the link before signing so need to move that access to the front of this docusign process.

After all that…. any suggestion?

Thanks.

Hi @cduffyaz4,

Thank you for sharing your use case.

The behavior you describe is expected from eSignature by design. At this moment, the only option to create a clickable link within the signing session is the one outlined in the guide provided below:

How do I create a hyperlink in a Docusign document?
However, a downside of using this method is that the text in the box will be printed on the completed document.

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.
