Can I disable the " i agree to use electronic records and signatures" mesage?

Hi all, a few weeks ago users started to get the message presented in the title. Since we are using DocuSign internally, many are complaining about it. Why did this message/dialog start coming up? Is there a way to disable it? I checked signing settings, but nothing pops up. Any orientation is appreciated. Salvador PS: Image of dialog presented here:

On my last Docusign Document, I imported a copy of my real signature rather than using my docusign signature (Dumb idea). The company I am dealing with thinks the signature is “too light and unreadable” Can I change the signature on that document, and if so, how?

Update bulk data

How can I update attributes that are either missing or need to be changed in bulk? I’ve read this article that teaches how to do it as if you’re bringing in bulk documents from another platform, but my documents are already in CLM. They need to have certain (existing) attributes changed or added.

How to change the form field

I have already filled the fields on my pdf form. I drag it to start getting signatures, somehow, a pop up says “We found form fields for MY FILE NAME.pdf” and all the information I typed in on my form are gone??? HOW DO I CHANGE IT TO KEEP MY PDF AS IS WITH MY TYPED INFORMATION? Thanks!

Descriptive text for custom document fields

Hello, I have created some custom document fields. These contain descriptive words in the signing view, such as the location or a special number to be entered. If the signer then wants to fill in this field, he still has to remove the words “location” or “special number” before he can enter his own text.What setting can I use to display a descriptive alt text for the document fields, which does not have to be deleted when the signer clicks on the field, but simply disappears? User deletion - what happens to the contacts of a deleted user

Hello docusign community, due to data protection requirements I want to find out what happens to the contacts of a user that are deleted. Related article: What happens to a user's data once the user is closed? The article does unfortunatelly does not mention the contacts of a deleted user. There is an API endpoint that can be used for deleting the contacts of a user but what is the default action to happen in case a user is deleted?

Download document in CLM workflow

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to download a document from an external source using the http client in CLM. I have to download the audit trail from adobe. I have set the headers as Accept: application/pdf. My response is showing 200 but I’m unable to see anything in the output variable. I’ve tried to set output variable as document, custom xml and text. document and xml ones are showing empty and the text one says Action failed with exception, returned: Value of variable output contains invalid unprintable characters. How can I copy a document with complex fields from one template to another existing template? Creating a new envelope to send is not an option, as this will be accessed by my signers via a link embedded on my webpage.

Payment Item on Document generated from Salesforce Industry

Hi There, I’m generating a contract document from Salesforce Industries(Vlocity) OmniScript using OOB Document Generation capability. I want to integrate Stripe Payment gateway into this document. DocuSign has ‘Payment Item’ tag when we generate it from DocuSign eSignature. In the link below, they have mentioned tags like ‘vlcSignHere1’ but there is no tag for Payment Item. Workflow Decision Step - Last X Days Condition

Hello Everyone, I noticed there is a condition called “Last X days” in the decision step and it is only showing if the variable on the left side is a Date Variable. Do you have any idea how this works? I tried setting a fixed date on the date variable while adjusting the number on the right side, but this step always goes down the True path. I would appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this. Thank you!

How to get an invoice after being charged for an unused account for months

I suddenly realised DocuSign were charging me for an unused account for 7 months using a backup payment method I was not actively using or checking. This occurred as I was never sent any invoices or bills so did not realise this was the case where normally a company would communicate with their customers and this would have avoided this issue entirely. After being told conflicting information where every time someone different responds to your email and initially being told I would get a curtesy refund I was then refused one with reasons varying from the fact I had complained to the bank (which I hadn’t at that point) to my account being ineligible for refunds so it’s hard to know what to believe. Emails to staff at the company go ignored and then the same people then email me with marketing emails a few days later wanting to sell me more stuff and continue to ignore customer service emails. Now I am just trying to obtain an invoice showing the charges that were taken and I can’t even

new admin password reset page not found

Hi Trying to add new Admins to our Docusign account. Add the user, they get the email invite and click on activate, They try to sign in and click the password reset link and get sent a code. When they enter the code they just then get a 404 page not found after entering the code: Can anyone advise please? Thanks! Dave

Revoking a signature

Hello all! I am a DocuSign administrator. A DocuSign user signed a document, but now some issues have come up and he requested that his signature be “unsigned” from the document until the issue is resolved. I have searched on how to do this and found some information, but does not coincide with what I am seeing onscreen. Am I able to revoke his signature from the document? If so, how? Thanks! Salvador

Is Custom Branding Disabled?

I signed up for a free trial today (Jan 24, 2025) and am unable to test out custom branding. I found a note in a support page that says, “Note: These features are temporarily disabled for account plans purchased on the web after November 20, 2024. For more information, contact Docusign Support.” So it would appear that new accounts simply cannot use custom colors, fonts, logos, etc. It’s all just the default Docusign styling only, which seems like a big problem for businesses! I tried contacting support but am unable to log into the portal, possibly because I only have a trial account? Does anyone know more about this? Will custom branding come back as a feature, or is there a higher-tier plan that does allow for customizations? I’m looking to just apply my company’s logo, brand colors, and fonts to envelopes and documents. Thanks all!!

Why is my envelope created from a template via API remaining in "created" status instead of being sent?

Hi DocuSign Community, I'm having trouble sending an envelope via the DocuSign API using a template. I have verified that my template is set up correctly (it works as expected when I create and send an envelope manually from the console). However, when I create an envelope using the API, the envelope is created with a status of "created" (i.e., a draft) rather than "sent". Here’s my setup: Template Details: Template ID: templateId The template contains two recipient roles: one with the role name "provider" and one with "site". The template has required fields and signature tabs already configured. SAML Map Profile Info

Is there any way to map additional info for user profiles through SAML mapping? Job title, Company, Address, that kind of info. If I can pass the info from our IdP, is there a way for DocuSign to map and apply it to our user profiles?

Signature Workflow

I have a document signoff workflow that includes 5 people. Docusign will be used. The 2nd person in the workflow is looking to not sign in Docusign, perhaps a wet signature or other Digital method. Does Docusign allow for a person 2nd in line in workflow to apply a Digital Signature outside of DocuSign workflow, then upload document for balance of workflow to continue? For this purpose, assume the person insists on a wet signature. This person MUST be the 2nd signature so reordering workflow is not an option.

Is there a timeout setting for the Wait For action in DocuSign Workflow? or maybe in the signature collection action?

We have had a few occurrences while we wait for signature, it seems to timeout in 10 days. We have a 'Wait For' action in which errors out with "Timeout occurred waiting for document signature'" I could not find any settings on the action or in the Workflow settings that would suggest timing out in 10 days. Also did some googling and could not find anything...

How to suppress attachments in completion email for signers only, not senders?

I've configured many DocuSign PowerForms over the years, but I was recently asked to support a new use case that doesn't appear possible. What the client wants is for the PowerForm owner and the signer to both receive an email notification when an envelope is completed. That piece is easy. However, they also want only the PowerForm owner to receive the completed documents attached to that email. They don't want the signer to receive any attachments; they want the signer to only receive the email notification, with nothing attached. As far as I can tell and have tested, all attachment settings I can see for completed envelopes apply globally, both to senders and signers. I'm hoping I'm wrong though. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Customizing Powerform PDF File Name

Hey everyone! I'm not sure if this feature is available, but I wanted to ask just in case it's possible. I've created a powerform that forwards to our ticketing system, generating a PDF. However, I'm wondering if there's a way to grab information from the document (senders name) or perhaps when the initial sender information is filled out, is there a way to customize for that information to populate on receipts file name? I see that “Completed” is automatically added to the receipt, is there a way to customize this? What is currently showing is, “Completed: WireTransfer.pdf.” What I would like to see is, “Completed: (Name) Wire Transfer.pdf.” Attached is what I am seeing in our ticketing system. Unable to access related list details and display them within a table dynamically on a DocuSign Envelope Template

Hi, We have installed DocuSign eSignature for salesforce managed package in our org. There is a requirement to access related list details and display them within a table dynamically on a DocuSign Envelope Template.Opportunity (Source Object) > Clean Energy Application custom object (Reference) > Clean Energy Application Line Item custom object details for each line item (Child). Challenges: DocuSign Merge Field Limitation: Currently, it is not possible to create a merge field within DocuSign that can pull and display the CEA line item details from the Clean Energy Application. This limitation exists both within the DocuSign app and within the Document Custom Fields in the DocuSign web account. Static Document Template: In the current template design, the document uploaded is static, which prevents the dynamic display of CEA line item details for each application.
