We are having an issue with some conditional fields that work with a template.  If we send it out as a template these conditions do not work. If we send it out as a power form it works like it should.  They are pretty basic,  in a dropdown  <5000, >5000, >75k.   When a condition is selected, an attachment tag pops up to be attached.  

If I edit the template that is assigned to a Powerform AFTER I copy the URL  do I need to create the URL again?  Like does the edit in the Template change the URL ?

I sent a document to a recipient and they advised me they completed it and sent it back. However, my dashboard still shows that I am waiting for this signer. How to fix? 

Aside from the font size and color, is there a way to change the field’s border and background colors? I do not always want a border and white background.  Also, can such modification be done as a default setting or for multiple fields at once?

Can a file be recovered if it is purged? 

We are trying to implement the ability for customers to sign documents generated in Finastra Deposit Pro using a Topaz signature pad.  We have followed instructions from Finastra, DocuSign and Topaz, however when generating the documents in Deposit Pro and choosing to send esign export the documents are being sent to the customer’s email and not the signature pad.  Any help would be appreciated.

I want to add an Approve button to my document to collect votes.  I can add it to my template and when it is received (to me as a test) I can click on the Approve link and it shows that it works.  After finishing it returns to me however there is no indication that it was ever recorded - in fact nothing is there.  If I add a signature that always shows up.  I’ve tried a word document and a .pdf with same results.

Hello team , we are implementing DocuSign retention policy on 22 may2024: After implementation the old document will be deleted ? all document will be deleted upon setting the retention or only specific document , for example document only over 6 months will be purged from the system 

Is there a way to preserve comments made in a word document when attached. I am fine if those get converted to pdf, but currently when uploading a word document with comments - the comments get removed in the PDF conversion process. 

Hello, We have recently noticed an error when adding recipients to an envelope. These errors are showing on our Sign Up templates. Please see image below showing the error.  

The default date Month/day/Year is confusing ie in New Zealand we a day month year I have tried many times in setting to change this to DAY/MONTH/YEAR TEAMS  we are looking at setting up I have an account am I admin?… I cant see share templateAlso tried to share a template with with my PA how has a month trial and her name and email cant be found Thanks for you help

Hi,I am missing the “needs to view” option where you can choose “needs to sign” or “recieves a copy” is located. How can I get the “needs to view” option?Kind regardsJenny 

Hoping someone can help. Is there a way to configure DocuSign so that it does not prepend filenames with “Complete_with_DocuSign” upon signature or download. I often have the filenames exactly as I want them, sometimes quite long, and they get truncated when DocuSign prepends the filename. When I download the combined document + summary I then have to rename the files back to what they were before they were uploaded. This is busy work I’d rather avoid. Is there a way to turn this off?

Please refer to the attached document. The signing order is inaccurate. The status is currently with Abdullatif Hattb. Can you please explain why it is showing as my signature? And we are assigning a signing order, but it is showing as pending with multiple signatories.Your assistance is needed to resolve this problem. We recently upgraded our plan to corporate, but we are still unable to receive actual assistance.

I downloaded the March 2024 W9 template to use and love that this is provided to us at no extra cost. We have a basic plan and cannot do any advanced editing. In Box 3a of the W9, we have vendors who are sole proprietors/individuals and use an EIN rather than SSN. The template is set at SSN only and I couldn’t figure out how to set it to where EIN and SSN are an option, similar to when they select “Other”. Can someone help me?

I am filling out a Docusign form for the US/Mexico/Canada Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin for a shipment to Canada.  On the second page is a completely unexplained field with a drop down box. “Origin Criterion”, choices are A, B, C, or D.   There is NO explanation as to what those letters represent. UPS has no clue and referred me back to Docusign. It is a required field. Please help with an explanation as to what those options mean so I don’t make a wrong choice.Thanks!

Hi,Do any of you know if DocuSign has sent out a communication regarding some changes in the user interface? I noticed today that there have been some slight changes in layout and changes to certain functionalities. For example, 'Manage' is now 'Agreements,' 'New' is now 'Start,' etc. If there is a communication about this change, would you be able to share it with me or let me know where to locate the document? Thank you,Amy

What steps are involved in integrating DocuSign with D365 F&O?

Hi,If a user is a template owner but needs to have someone else also be the template owner how can this be done? We don’t want to transfer the template to them but have both users be template owners so either of them are able to send it out to others to obtain signatures. Is this possible?Thank you,Julie

After getting a new account and adding existing users that are on the old account a will closing the users on the old account will that remove the users from the new account?users are the same for example same APIUserName and password.The goal is move all the users over to the new account and no longer pay for old account.

When I click on “Review Documents” in the email sent by sender, it doesn’t even give me options to change the settings, my signature, or to log into my DocuSign acct that I’ve had for years. I’ve told the sender that it may have something to do with the fact that they already have my name printed into the documents incorrectly, and therefore it will not allow me to sign the documents with my saved DocuSign signatures (both have my middle initial). The first 3 screenshots are from the link within the email from the sender. It doesn’t connect with the DocuSign acct I already have. The last 2 screenshots are from my DocuSign acct, proving that I have 2 sigs on file that have my middle initial. When I try and sign the docs from logging into my acct, it defaults and takes me back to the same screen it takes me to whenever I click on the “Review Documents” link in the official DocuSign email from the sender. Sometimes documents are received without pdf attachments and you need to log in and download - why does that happen? is there something I should be doing?

I just enrolled in DocuSign.  I’m preparing simple contracts to be emailed. At the bottom of the contract, I have a signature line. From the left side of the screen, I drug the “Signature” field over to the document and placed it on the signature line, which created a “Sign” area in yellow with a downward area.  On the date line of the contract, I drug the “Date Signed” field over to the agreement.Do these actions automatically allow the recipient of the document to sign it and date it or is there something else I must do?   Since I’m the only user of my DocuSign account, I don’t know if I have any administrator access.Thanks for your assistance. 

I would like to set up a contract template without entering in a recipient.  Idea is that when I have a new client I can just update the template with their project info and send to them but it’s requiring that I enter a recipient to create a template, seems very counterintuitive, what’s the best practice here?
