LiveCycle PDF upload error

Hi I am getting an error when uploading a PDF document. The PDF I am trying to attach is a flattened version of the XML-based PDF that was created via Adobe LiveCycle. Here is the error I am getting - "We cannot process that PDF. Please ensure that file is not corrupted" But the PDF is not corrupted. It is perfectly fine.

Authoritative Copy Concerns

How are people handling extraction and storage of the(https://www.docusign.com/features-and-benefits/features) Authoritative copy for a completed envelope? The Authoritative copy is the single distinct absolute original version of a document that is unique, identifiable and unalterable without detection. I just found out about this specific requirement during a meeting with Legal. Based on what I've found online both through the guides and google, it seems like you can use an API call to extract it but you can't easily get it through the console. During a call with Support, it appears as if Authoritative Copy needs to be activated through your account rep. Though after speaking with legal, that seems like a large loophole in terms of auditing. If the Authoritative Copy is required for defense of any signature, and my account isn't even enabled to extract the Authoritative copy. How can I defend the signature? Is anyone else actively storing the Authoritative copy? Are you extracting it

Change DOT Signature to 120 or 500 pixels

Few months back, we have a case and the support team suggested there will be an update as the support engineer have been working on a new release to have a restriction for users not to have a DOT only as their signature.In the mean time we have raised the value to be 120 as per support Set a Minimum number of pixels required to adopt a signature/initials to 120 however, we are still getting the users with the dots. 1. Is there a fix available to overcome this issue? 2. If we now enforce to adopt a signature feature instead, what will happen to the existing users? Do they need again to create a new signature?(I think it is required), but, that will cause a problem on 1000 plus users getting to redo their signature again. Please suggest. Thank you

Changing Sender on Outgoing Document

Hi, My stakeholders would like to be able to change the who the sender display name is after sending the envelope. They would like to that the recipient would see the group mailbox name instead of the name the sender. Is this possible?

Unable to sign

I was sent a 7 page document to sign, and was able to sign only the first page. Now, when I try to go back into the document to sign the other pages, nothing pops up to allow me to sign. How do I fix this so I can sign all 7 pages.

Can I set up a Docusign to redact information to certain recipients?

I initiate contracts from the account and ideally, when I set up a contract I would put in all signers and then cc a number of people. Is there a way to redact information in the set up so that certain ccs receive a redacted version of said contract, while others receive the whole thing?

How can I prepare a redacted copy of a signed document?

I need to provide someone with a copy of a document that is signed but must redact some confidential information. Is there a way, outside of DocuSign, to do this using Acrobat? Currently, if I try I get a message "This document has been signed and cannot be edited". Thanks,

How can I copy and paste a link from my email to a new web browser in order to electronically sign a document?

I'm trying to retrieve some documents to sign, but the email says I have to copy and paste the link I was sent to a new web browser in order to sign the documents. I can't figure out how to do it. I'm taken to DocuSign when I click on the link, but I don't know what to do. I'm new to this. Can you help? Thank you.

Need to provide more direction to singer after Adopt and Sign

We have encountered situations where a signer clicks Adopt and Sign, and believes the process is complete. But the agent is still waiting for email confirmation of Complete status. This is because a signer has not yet clicked Finish to send the document. So how do we provide more direction to the signer in cases like this?

Custom Fields

Hi, So far the help section and videos have been inforamative, I am trying make make 1 Template with 3 documents with several fields that repeat. I thought that if I saved a custom field and used it throughut the document that they would populate the same information (like "Phone Number" from a text field) throughout the documents. That would be 1 of the reasons why i want to use docusign. Is this true or am I imuting the fields wrong (must the "shared" box be checked)?yhank you

Query on on-Premises eSignature

We have been exploring DocuSign’s eSignature (Embedded Signing and Embedded Sending) and the APIs are integrated with our product (note that the product is developed using C#, Asp.Net, MVC technologies). It fulfills much of our requirements, but due to security concern we cannot allow our documents to be available outside the network. We want following features but with on-premises hosting: a. On-premises signing. Documents must not be available outside our network. b. Any authorized system user should be able to raise signing request on a document with multiple recipients. c. We want document to be signed using eSignature (NOT the digital signature). d. Tagging (where recipient must sign the document). e. Routing (order in which recipients should sign the document). f. Reminders and notifications. g. Tracking Document Status (Completed, Rejected, Awaiting Sign, Certification of Completion). Please let me know if DocuSign eSignature can be hosted in our network and should be integrated

Report on Tag Data

I have created a template for all available tags. These are standard tags, not custom. The tags are all anchored with special scripting like \\\\S-1\\\\. I would like to generate a report (Excel) that has the Recipient, Label, anchor text, formating properties, and conditional fields. Is it possible to generate a report against standard tags? (I think you can do it with custom tags) Whenever a change is made, this report would help others to rebuild the template according to spec.

Document Visibility/Workflow

Hi, I'm trying to set up a workflow with selective document visibility but I'm having some trouble. The workflow I'm trying to create is as below: - Signer 1 - has visibility of document 1, completes and signs - Signer 2 - has visibility of document 1 & 2, completes document 1, completion of document 2 is dependent on information provided by Signer 1. Therefore, document 2 is not always needed. - Signer 3 - has visibility of documents 1 & 2, merely has an approve button on each to check the documents are correct. - Signer 4 - has visibility of document 1, signs and completes. Each signer then receives an email with the completed docs, which includes document 2 regardless of whether it has actually been used or not. My question is this - is there any way Signer 2 can delete document 2 where it is not needed, i.e. where signer 1 answers 'no' to the relevant question and doc 2 is not needed? General Email Alias for Multiple Users to Send from

I have 3 users who want to use a single corporate Outlook email account so they can all manage documents. They want the emails sent for signatures to identify that they are from the IT Planning department and not from them personally. My idea was to create the corporate Outlook account and create a DocuSign account usinig the corporate email address. They can all share the Outlook account and manage the emails. The issue: After activating the DocuSign account whenever they attempt to log into DocuSign again they are prompted that the password is incorrect and they must reset the password. Will my idea work and if so why are they getting prompted for a new password each time they try to log in? Thanks for any help!
