Signer attachment field not available

I have a business pro account, and I have the signer attachments setting enabled. But when I create an envelope or use a template, the option is not available to me. I’m pulling my hair out here. What am I doing wrong?

Full name at the recipient page

Hi thereWe prepare our contract outside of DocuSign and upload the document for signing.We do not really use the “Field” except the signature field. We are quite puzzled as to how to enter “First Name” and “Last Name” of the recipient on the recipient page? We need this data for Zapier automation. Currently, we can only enter the recipient’s full name.Thank youJohnny

Is there a way to connect a dropdown in CLM to Active Directory? I recently built out an internal routing memo but the nagging issue users are facing is the need to update the list of people whenever someone is added or removed from the list of approvers.

Repeat document notifications

In the last 2 days I am receiving repeated notifications of documents either being viewed or completed. These are things I have already received. I have received the notifications 4-5 times each on some of them. What is the issue and how can I stop it?

recipient to sign

Hi, I have made my envelope and need two documents signed. I try to add field select recipient then touch where I want the yellow signature box, I’m using an iPad so it won’t allow me to drag and drop, when I ask to send it comes up with the field manager box, so I do the above again. How do I make the yellow boxes stay on the signature areas when I send?

Configure Webhook Connection to return envelope status' on only one template

I’ve setup a template that will be used for customers to sign and return for signature by someone on our sales team.  I’m automating the distribuation of this document by using Microsoft Power Automate, creating a flow with a webhook listener at the end.  The webhook listener is looking for the status of the envelope to change to “completed”, then it will save the completed .pdf to our sharepoint site.I’ve configured a new configuration within Docusign Connect, for the flow.  However, I don’t see a way to point this webhook to this specific template and the envelopes created from it.  I’ve tested this entire build and it works, except it works too good.My issue is that there are other shared templates being used within our Docusign instance (by other processes and users) so my webhook reports back when ANY envelope status changes to “completed”, rather than just the envolopes I care about with this specific template.Is there any way to have a webhook only report back on specific envelo

require either yes or no as an answer to questions

I’m new and creating a template from an existing Word document and it’s going fine.  But, I’m at a point in the template that REQUIRES either a yes or no answer to several questions (this is a background check).  How do i set it up that the applicant must answer either yes or no?Videos are good - I just don’t know how to ask the question to get the video.TIA!

Hello guys!I've integrated Docusign with TOPdesk. I'm able to create a base64 document and send this document via email. However, when I look within the Docusign platform, this document doesn't appear. What could I be doing wrong? But, here, I can’t see anything...

How to update Template's Custom Field via REST

Hi,I’ve created a template and added a few custom fields on the template. I’ve applied a template on an empty envelope but I can’t seem to to able to update the custom fields on the envelope.When I pull a list of custom fields on the envelope, all I’m getting is this. { "textCustomFields": [ { "fieldId": "11074686122", "name": "templateUsageRestriction", "show": "false", "required": "false", "value": "allOptions" } ], "listCustomFields": []}Is it possible to update there custom fields before sending it to the end user? Best regards,Matt

How to access a partially signed document?

What happens if I have 6 signatures on a document, but only 4 out of the 6 sign it? Can I still obtain a copy of the document with the 4 signatures.

Is it possible to preview a draft envelope before sending it?

Hi,I’m trying to create a preview of a draft envelope so the sender can confirm all the data and fields are correct before sending the envelope. I tried using the createSenderView API to get the URL for the Sender View. However when I try to access the URL its saying Login Unsuccessfulredeem console code : RestApi Error . Transaction Id: xxxxFrom what I’ve read online, the supposed URL is supposed to be this domain “https://demo.docusign.net” but I’m getting this instead “https://apps-d.docusign.com”.Is there some configuration/setting that I’m missing?Regards,Matt

Upload error

I’ve uploaded a document, and while inserting initial blocks I notice that one page has not uploaded correctly. There is no error message, the page just looks like a blurred picture. Can anyone assist?

Setting an order including non-signing recipients

Hi there, I have a document I’d like to send to 3 parties as noted below:Party 1: signer Party 2: receives a copy Party 3: signsParty 3 CANNOT receive the document until party 2 reviews. What’s the best way to ensure that Party 2 controls exactly when Party 3 is ready to get the doc and sign in?Should I actually note Party 2 as a signer and just not put any place for them to sign / fill out?

Completed and Signed envelops lost in transit

Hi ,  We receive a lot of envelops in CLM from e-signature, however, some of the completed and signed envelops dissapear in transit and we are sometimes not abe to retrieve them. Is there a log on what happens when envelops are sent from e-sginature. Thank You. Regards, Farayi

Routing Order for embedded signing (Error - RECIPIENT_NOT_IN_SEQUENCE)

Downloading 150 page sales contract and not all pages download.

Hello All, I’m having a big issue/problem when I download approx. 150 pages for a real estate purchase. I first make sure all the documents are downloaded, and then I install all the receipts that need to be signed and initialed.   Then I start dragging the cursor to highlight the areas that need signatures and initials, dates, etc...I get into the documents around 100 pages, then a page (sometimes several pages) will not download and looks like a fuzzy white cloud/blue sky/land which screws up the whole process. Does anyone know why this happens? It’s so frustrating and a waste of time.

Fields

Can anyone help? I am trying to make fields for a Withholdings Certificate. Right now they are all working through conditional fields and dropdowns. Should i try text boxes and radio buttons and if so how should they be added? If the user selects “0” on number 1 then 2 & 3 are NOT to be entered.  if they don't want to chose “0” they must pick a drop down option from both 2 & 3.  Can anyone think of a way around the way I have set up the first line? Currently I have a dropdown with two options being “0” and “Not applied”. When “0” is selected line 2 & 3 are hidden. When “Not Applied” is selected It let’s them pick from 2 & 3. We are ultimately trying to keep it set up the way it is with drop downs so that the user is almost “forced” to select only right options whereas text boxes would let them mess up. We think the “Not Applied” is going to be too confusing for the users. Any tips or help is appreciated, thanks.

Name, Title Fields - Is there a way to make these fields NOT Opaque?

I have a PDF that needs signature. The person who created the PDF included name and title of the signer in the PDF (which is not editable).  I would like the NAME and TITLE FIELDS to NOT be Opaque and to OVERLAY the Name and Title that is in the file as if it was never there.  This way the person who is really signing the document will be the only name shown.  Is there a way to define the fields to not be OPAQUE?
