Hi all, I’m creating a new eform and have a text field which I’d like to show as N/A by default unless the text is changed by the person inputting. When I put in N/A into the Default value and save it’s coming up with an error each time.   Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can resolve?  If the inputter clicks no to business approvals I want the form to default to N/A otherwise it comes out as blank.    Thanks

We have a gen template that automatically generates a document once the user click on the custom button from the account.  we are now trying to map the amount field on the Account to the payment tab.  This should auto populate the same way all other fields are populated but for some reason I’m not sure how to map the field to the payment tag in docusign.  Can someone help?

Hi, still new, 2nd question, Day 1… thanks for your patience.I placed a payment item on the last page of a power form.  when I review the form, as the end user, the payment item is mearly an icon with text.  It has no purpose. When the form is finished the payment gateway opens as it is intended. all fine there.My question is how do I place the payment item, but not show on the form?  Thank you.See attached PDF 

I’m struggling to understand the difference between these two concepts - setting someone up as a Delegate or Sharing Access.  How are they not the same thing?With Outlook, making someone a Delegate is a common thing - they typically have Send on Behalf Of rights, as well as creation and editing permissions.  I know that a calendar can be shared with someone that isn’t a delegate.  The concept has made sense for a long time.Not so with DocuSign.  I need to give my attorneys a clear cut answer:  Make someone a Delegate if you need them to XYZ.  Share Access with someone when you need them to ABC...

I’m very new to Docusign. Day 1… Almost everythig is very straight forward. Except for the Start Tab at the beginning of the form.I have a fillable form. A rental application to be exact. when the applicant opens the form, the first thing they see is the Start Tab. The applicant will be inclined to press that tab first, bringing them down to the end of the application, asking for a signature.  The applicant must be directed to fill out the form first before being directed to the signature.How do I edit this?Thank you 

Filling out Docusign for customer as always and as i go to send it says error and i look back and some or all of the boxes to sign/fill out have turned red instead of their normal yellow/green. Please advise 

HiI would like ask 2 questions for fixing 2 issues: We woukd like add an automatic  retour in a text field. Actually, when the text length is longer we lost the last part iof  the text. Is a solution exist to avoid it? We would create a dynamic field in the welcome message mail (Ex; Hello <last name> ….) Regards

How do I change the sender name to my business name instead of my personal name? So when people get a doc to sign, it says “Business Name” has sent you a docusign vs “Personal Name” has sent you a docusign?

Hello!I work for a huge cooperation and for some reason no one seems to be able to tell me who owns the DocuSign account I am a part of. I do not have admin rights so i cannot to give access to Esignature to one of my colleagues.How do i go about finding out who owns the account so I can gain admin rights to give Esignature access to the one that needs to have it?  Also, one person who does have admin rights has an old email attached to the account and cannot recieve emails there anymore. So She cannot access her account which is another problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. 

I have two companies that perform similar but slightly different jobs.  We have two people who are sending out DocuSign forms-one person from each company.  I thought that I had designed it so that the new company using DocuSign would have its’ own individual branding (colors and logo) but it seems to have changed the docusign branding for the initial user and her DocuSign requests as well.  Is there a way to set up the branding within one account for two different companies? Any help you can provide would be welcomed...

Account does not enable AllowDocGenDocuments setting." }}It appears that the DocGen document settings might not be enabled for my account. Has anyone else faced this issue? If so, could you advise how to resolve it? Specifically, I'm looking for guidance on enabling the AllowDocGenDocuments setting in the DocuSign account or any alternative solutions you might suggest. Below you can find the flow. Hi,I sent a document with a text field instead of a date field as this is mandatory where a date field is not.My client couldn’t complete the document with a text field. It kept coming up red and would not finish the document.I resent the document without the text field and my client completed it successfully.Any ideas what is going on here?ThanksKaz

The standard approach appears to be utilizing the Salesforce-managed package, "DocuSign E-signature for Salesforce". However, I am exploring options beyond this package.Could anyone guide me on alternative methods to send documents for signature from Salesforce without necessarily using the "Docusign E-signature for Salesforce" managed package?Any suggestions or pointers would be immensely appreciated. I was wondering if it is possible to share the contact directory that admins have access to, to other non admin users? For reference I am using the Part 11 compliant version of DocuSign.

In my own template, I need to edit the current PDF form. I select Edit. In the Add Documents section, I select the Download Document for my form. Once I open the downloaded form and select Edit, I receive an error message stating "This document has been signed and can not be edited.” How can I download an unsigned form so that I can edit my form?

Does anyone know how to add a wildcard at the end of the folder path so that it also looks for subfolders? I am using "Find Documents by Metadata" but the include subfolders option is not available and I want the system to review all folders within.

I am wondering if I can use the “apply template” option on a document that is already partially filled out? I currently have a template for a form that has several fields tagged for the “client” to fill out. We often know a lot of the client info up front though, and would like to be able to fill out what we do know and then let the template apply to everything that is left to fill in. Is this possible?
