I have been having to get redlines from recipients, negotiate them and than upload edit contract. I thought I used to be able to do this within DocuSign however I don't seem to be able to do this. I have enable editing by recipients but this only seem to give them an edit box and no redline function

Can an Administrator grant access to another user or themselves in the CLM to get into another users WorkFlow to make changes? In other word eSignature has administrator shared access permissions, is there something similar in the CLM?

I want to have Info dynamically change throughout the workflow/sub-workflow task progression (calling the Update Information step multiple times). I can reference the variable to Update Information based on two variables:<%#Variable.Contract_Name%>​ | <%#Variable.Workflow_Status%>​The variable Contract_Name also happens to be an attribute that the user can update. I can think of two ways to do this, but do not know how to do either:If the Contract_Name attribute is updated, I then update the variable Contract_Name by updating from the attribute. How would I do this if possible?Instead of referencing the Variable.Contract_Name when updating Info, I reference the attribute Contract_Name. If this is possible, how would I pull from an attribute in a Workflow?

​I have a process that has a couple child workflows. I have defined a variable in the initial "parent" workflow using parameters available for the document name that updates an attribute field. The final step starts the child flow and in the configuration you can add variable from the parent. Can a variable be passed from one workflow to the other and how is that done?Thanks

Hey all,How do I add an additional value to a repeatable attribute?SituationWe have the case that a one contract can belong to multiple cost centers. I can catch them via the expression function and store them in a variable. However, I have no idea how I should communicate with the attribute field. Currently, the workflow overwrites always the first position.Simplified examplePicture 1 (original value): The contract has 4 cost centers (31000; 221000; 52000; 12000) and needs a 5th valuePicture 2 (Workflow with value): A workflow updates the attribute field (Cost Center) with the valiue "99999 - This needs to be added". In the example it is hard coded. For me the problem remains still even if I use a variable with the name "CostCenter"Picture 3 (updated value): 99999 shows up on the first place and replaced the value 31000Thank you for your help in advance and best regards,Marco

How can I set up reminder emails to go out x days before a contract expires?I have a Document Generation Upload form set up that records contract end date, as well as a "alert x days before end" field.How do I have reminders set to go out "x days before" the contract end date? I looked at smart rules and notification templates, but it looks like I can only have those triggered one period of time before the end date on the document, and not variable based on the document (Document x has a reminder going out 90 days before end date, Document y has a reminder going out 15 days before end date).I also looked at workflow, but wasn't able to figure out how to have it calculate the date the reminder should go out.

I want to have on an input form a start date and a number of months field and then calculate the end date to be that number of months after the start date. The end date will also be an attribute like start date and increment number of months.

I have added Rich Text box to several docgen forms. The rich text merge tag is the first "sentence" in the paragraph in the templates. When a user utilized the rich text box in the form, even without using html, the spacing is thrown off in the the remainder of the paragraph.. How do I eliminate the spacing issues created by using rich text format in docgen form.

I'd like to know how to reference the value in a CLM Document Generation from from within the same form. For instance. If I wanted the value in Filed B to reference the value that was input in Field A then what would be the syntax to use? And would this be an expression for Field B? I'm assuming that you would not use the merge tags since that is used to pull field data into the generated document.Thanks

Can I add a "Limited admin" role for an employee to help manage our account, without them having access to other employees Documents and security settings? For example, I need them to create Powerforms, which is an admin function, but I don’t want this employee to be able to see their co-workers personal/employment records that were completed in DocuSign.  If I can, please advise how to set this up-what permissions they need to have or not have. Thank you!

Is there a way to generate a contract in the middle of a workflow?For example: The first document kicked off through salesforce is called the deal summary sheet.. This provides the vice president enough info to give the go/no go for the contract generation.. Upon approval I currently have the contract admin generating the contract outside of spring and uploading it back into the folder within the salesforce record..What I would like to do is after the VP has given the approval the workflow automatically creates the document based off of doc launcher information.. My idea.. to create the contract a doc launcher form is sent to the sales rep to fill out... they would specify what type of contract they would like to generate..which means the workflow would need to understand the difference between templates and grab the right template and generate the right doc launcher form with the right feilds on it to generate the contract...I realized when writing this it sounds a little crazy.. but

Hi, I'm just trying to understand how to extract some of the values of the input fields from a document generation form. I read other post that use an expression like this: "GetVariableValue("Params.Params.TemplateFieldData..." but it doesn't work.In my case I need to create a variable in a workflow based on a numeric value that is entered into a text field on the document generation form.PD. The search for text step is not an option because it takes 10 minutes to search the value

How can i create a link of Signed Document in Workflows so that i can route to other party for Signature?

As part of my Workflow, I am sending an email to my Sales Rep if their Document has been Rejected by the Contracts Team.The email is sent as expected and the tags from Salesforce all pull in correctly to the email.The tags from the SpringCM Variables DO NOT PULL IN at all and show blank areas. I have tripled verified that I have the variables spelled/named correctly in the email and yet it is still not working.I must be missing something? Or maybe there is a special way to add these in?As an example...SFDC Line that works: <%#XmlVariables.Params.Params.TemplateFieldData.Salesforce_Id.Quote_Number%>SpringCM Line that does not work: <%#XmlVariables.Params.Params.TemplateFieldData.ContractsComments%>Any ideas??

I am trying to update a variable at the end of a workflow.Scenario: At the end of the workflow I want the contract number to be updated based on the manually updated attribute... Ex: Once the document gets sent to operations for processing I want the operations person to manually update the attributes.. From there I would like for the workflow to then update the variable and then update the corresponding Salesforce field. Currently I have a find document step, and I am confused.. do I just need to redefine the document variable? Meaning the document is deal_summary_doc and the existing variable I am updating is deal_Summary _doc? If so, how would I let the workflow know to grab the updated attribute and assign it to the correct variable and how would I define the document params with that new variable? Currently I have the update variable first then the find document next.

Hello,I use docusign to signe by several parties excel files documents containing dates in several cells.inside this excel file documents, we have date in EU standard format (example 22nd of february is 22/02/2024). In the final pdf file with all the signature this date is automatically converted to US standard format (example 22nd of february is 02/22/2024).How may i keep the EU date format in the PDF generated by docusign with all the signature ?Regards, stéphane

Requirement:After sending the document for Signature, the document is converted into pdf.After signature, we would like to send the document for External Review in .docx format. So that we can compare the redlined content.Is there any way possible to convert pdf into .docx format?

Hi there, I paid for a monthly subscription via Paypal, my bank account shows the transaction was successful, but my DocuSign account was not updated, it still asked me to pay. Logged out and back in a few times, but propbel was still there. Anyone had the same problem ever? Many thanks!Lin

Hi all,I am issuing a report to gain visibility over who initiated a Workflow. However, it is showing me Workflows initiated by deleted users. When I try to filter them out using the "Initiated By" filter, their names do not appear as they have been removed from CLM.Is there any way to avoid these deleted users from appearing in my reports?Many thanks in advance!
