Automation of DocuSign with Salesforce and Sharepoint

Hi all, For a client who is using Salesforce we are looking at DocuSign. But they have some specific requirements and we are wondering if this is able with DocuSign. They want to start the process with DocGen. So, with the push off a button in Salesforce a template should be generated and stored in Sharepoint. Then they want to adjust the template in Sharepoint with Word. When the document is ready they want it to be sent to the right persons for singing. This process should be fully automated with a push of a button. So when they push on a button in Salesforce it will sent the document for singing directly from Sharepoint, so no screens will open where they have to verify the signees or they have to add the signing box. This will all be done automatically. The signees will be internal users and external. Is this possible with DocuSign and if yes how?

Disable Auto Complete

How do I disable auto complete?  I have a field for “Player Name” and I have a field for “Parent Name”.  When someone enters the Player name in the Player name field, it auto populates in the Parent Name field also.  How do I avoid it from auto populating?

I need to send a document by SMS and I purchased this Add On.  It isn’t showing up in my settings.  I can’t get any help from customer service because I am using the free 30 trial. There is nothing in FAQ about this issue other than call Customer Service, which, you know.

How to remove "Enter your email to receive a copy" for in person signing?

Hello,I am trying to determine how to remove the optional setting for users when they sign in-person to remove the option to enter their email to receive a copy. We have looked into the Resource File and changed the "DocuSign_InPersonSuppressEmailCopy" setting to True, and this seems to have stopped the emails from being sent in these cases. However, we cannot seem to find how to remove the HTML text (see attached). We have tried changing the "DocuSign_HeaderStepGetCopy", "DocuSign_InPersonEmailDesc", and "DocuSign_InPersonEmail" in the resource file to blank without any success. Any advice or input is greatly appreciated!-Kurt Oberhausen

Calling API for DocGent

Hello, my client uses DocuSign DocGen in salesforce, but it is not available in portal.I created an API call, but it seems to use a regular template from eSignature, even though I have the docgen template already setup in developer org.Is there a way to use the API and apply the rules for document generation I setup int Salesforce?

How do we close users freemium or trial accounts?

We have a number of users who have used their corporate email for freemium or trial accounts. We have turned on SSO but how can we go about closing these accounts (obviously after they remove any documents)? Can we contact DocuSign support to do this for us or is there another method?Thanks.

Workflow Combine Documents step

Hi all,I have spent hours trying to use “combine documents” workflow step without any success.The scenario:Document generation triggers the workflow.Document generation form contains attachment field. The user can add multiple attachments. How to Set Up a Multi-Section Form in DocuSign Where Only Relevant Sections Need Signatures?

I'm working with a scanned form in DocuSign that has four distinct sections, each corresponding to a different case. Only one section is relevant for each use, and we want to fill in only the applicable section while leaving the other sections untouched. However, the entire form needs to be completed with initials and signatures for any selected section to be considered valid.My main goals are:To ensure only the relevant section (based on the case) requires initials and signatures from the recipient. To leave the remaining sections blank if they’re not applicable. To streamline the signing process so that recipients don’t have to interact with non-relevant fields.Is there a way to configure conditional logic or recipient routing in DocuSign to make only the applicable section of the form active for each case? Or is there another approach to achieve this selective signing setup?Thank you for any guidance!

Hello, I am trying to complete a background check on a platform that uses DocuSign for eSignature, and I need to use DocuSign to sign the form. Why are my fields so out of alignment in eSignature?

No matter how well I line up my fields when preparing an envelope, they are ALWAYS out of alignment post signing. What am I doing wrong? This makes my signed documents look terribly untidy, no matter how much I try.Example here where the fields are perfectly aligned and centred within each section of the document. However, the final result has them both unaligned on the left-hand side, and also out of alignment with my document.

Preparing an envelope for another person to send

I have a workflow requirement where a small group (Team A) must prepare agreements for others on Team B to send at a time of the B Team member’s choosing. The preparers are the wizards behind the curtain, and the signers must see the envelopes originating from a B Team member. I’m familiar with custody transfer rules, but since this is a one-to-many relationship (one preparer, many possible senders) I don’t see how custody transfer rules are a possibility. These agreements are unique and won’t be using templates, so template-based rules are not an option. And the fact that the A Team member won’t know when the envelope should be sent really closes the door.So I think I’m down to two possibilities. The obvious one is Shared Access with sending rights. I know how this works but it might be too much to ask of the A Team. And B Team members might chafe at that level of access to their accounts. The option I prefer is only available to administrators: transferring ownership of the envelope.

Hello DocuSign Community,  My teammate and I are participating in the DocuSign  "Unlocked" Hackathon, and we’re working on a project to enhance the signing process by introducing interactive document features. Specifically, we are trying to add the ability to:1. Highlight specific sections or lines in a document to draw users’ attention to key details. 2. Display contextual bullet points or notes alongside the document to provide additional guidance or explanations. We’re exploring how to best integrate these features into the signing flow using embedded signing.
