How do I disable auto complete?  I have a field for “Player Name” and I have a field for “Parent Name”.  When someone enters the Player name in the Player name field, it auto populates in the Parent Name field also.  How do I avoid it from auto populating?

I would first check that the Data Label for those two fields it’s not the same.  Alternatively, you can disable the option to automatically replicate information in fields with the same data label either at the individual document level or on all documents in the envelope.   You will find this setting under Sending settings if you have Admin access to your account.

 

 


They are different, but it populates the name fields with same exact name.  Frustrating. 


It is a free account as of now.  I have sending settigs, but I dont have that option.  I would subcrbe but it is alot of work having to change each name field.

 

Also, I want to just create a template but It is making me enter a name and email address.

Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

The setting that @JohnSantos mentions would be of help however that is not included in all Docusign plans, if by the time you upgrade you still do not see the feature, please contact customer support to have that changed. 

Regarding the templates issue, if you create an envelope with out adding the name or email and save it in drafts you will have the option to Save as a Template: Save as Template

Also, when creating the template are you going to the template section? If you do not see a template section or the option to save as a template it could be due to the fact that it is a free account.
