General Discussion

We have a 120 day expiration period on all our envelopes, but one client is saying the link they receive has expired despite it being within the 120 days. They are the second signer of the envelope before it comes back to us; is this anything to do with it? Is there a certain time period between the first signer completing their section that the second signer has to complete their section or the link will expire?

I’m having an issue downloading the signed agreement with the certificate of completion as one file only.  I do not need the disclosures.  Selecting to download all documents as one file adds 3 pages of disclosures which are not needed.  Is it possible to combine the signed agreement with the certificate of completion only and download?  If so, how is this accomplished?  If not possible, could Docusign please consider it and make it available in the future?

I need to create a personal directory for my use of e maill addresses and contacts. How can I do that please

Why does Docusign keep changing the User Interface without actually changing any features. The new one is absolute garbage. Takes 10 extra clicks to do anything and it looks like a 4 year old designed it. REVERT!

Be very careful with the subscriptions they get you to sign up for without you realizing it, because they camouflage them within the information; then, when you call to cancel, they charge you for the whole year even though you haven't used the platform. THEY ARE THIEVES.

I am currently using the trial version and have already sent a thesis approval page to my university advisors. The envelope is currently in the signing process. I would like to remove the visible Envelope ID from the document. Is it possible to enable this option for my current account and apply it to this existing envelope? If a paid plan is required, please let me know which plan would allow this.Thank you for your help.

As I’m creating an envelope, Docusign has recently started renaming the files as they are uploaded. Why is this? I need them to stay as the original filename.

I am working on an automation for envelope creation.I am creating an envelope with a template using Power automate flow using Docusign connector with User 1 connection details. The created envelope present in User 1 draft folder. User 1 account envelope access has been shared with User 2 & 3. Now User 2 & 3 able to see the draft envelopes of User 1, but unable to edit it.Does Docusign allow users to edit the draft envelopes created by another user? Is there a way to create the envelopes with dynamic owner? Like if there is any API to create envelope by passing a user ID as envelope owner? Thanks in advance...

Hello, Whilst following this instructional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo-08qr2IpgWe are trying set up the following Logic:If Q1 and/or Q2 = yes, then trigger Q3.When testing, we successfully trigger both numeric values to appear when Q1 and Q2 = Yes. However, after setting up the formula as per the videos instructions (Q1 + Q2 >=1 ) to trigger Q3, it doesn't work.Should the formular result in a 1 appearing also? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

I prepared and sent an envelope out last week to four separate signatories.  Each person who is supposed to sign the agreement has a separate signature line with date.  I placed date and signature fields where shown, then sent the envelope. However, I received a message that the receivers didn’t get the envelope.  Why not?

Hi,I am working in a demo account as an administrator and am trying to understand the available Document Visibility options.I tested the Sender can set “Must sign to view, unless a member of sending account” setting and understand that this model restricts document visibility based on whether a recipient is required to sign (with the account member exception). In this test, I set the visibility rule on a template for an uploaded document. However, our business requirement is different. We have scenarios where recipients on the same envelope need different levels of access: Some recipients need to see all documents uploaded to the envelope, regardless of whether they are required to sign. Other recipients should not be able to see certain uploaded documents. Visibility should be controlled at the document/recipient level, not based only on whether someone is a signer. For example:Document A → Recipient 1 can view, Recipient 2 cannot view Document B → Recipient 2 can view, Recipient 1

How can i search for old envelopes? It is frustrating

Hi all! I am not an expert, so would really appreciate it if you could help me out 🙈One of our HR teams wants to be able to see/access all envelopes that are sent and signed by their team. This is very important for better follow up but most importantly: for continuity during absence.I suggested to make a group but I think groups are only used for sending envelopes to multiple people.Sidenote: I don't think a general email account is logical because we can not sign HR documents as f.e. "HR@company.com", we need to have the name of the actual signer. Thanks for your help! 🤗

I then have to wait for the script to finish the fancy animation and have to click “x” to close the not so helpful “next steps”. How can I turn this off? This is really annoying. Thanks a lot for your support!

Hello everyone,I am a semi-retired Financial Adviser. I sold my practice five years ago and now work solely with my life and annuity clients. Some new business comes my way now and then, but mostly it’s customer service, helping people out who have been good to me over the last fifty years. In the old days my staff did everything, but that was a while ago so today I’m a bit lost.My practice is simple, its usually using the same process and standard forms again and again. I could use some help in quickening the process. Can I get some one on one basic training with someone who will look at my day to day, and provide tips and pointers on speeding up my method? I am willing to pay for your time.Thank you in advance,S***** A********sd*********@gmail.com760-***-***Carlsbad, CA

A couple of weeks ago I tried to open Docusign but I was forced to answer customer service questions first.  i could not bypass this.  How tacky and unprofessional.  I certainly expected more from this company.  This is unethical and pathetic.

Hello, I saw few post related as to why the blue ring cannot be removed as it needs to subscribe. If i were to subscribe to a personal plan. does the tool to remove the blue ring would become available?

I have somehow been charged via paypal for an account I cannot even log into. When I try to log in it says my account does not exist, and I cannot speak to a person unless I can log in. This is ridiculous. I was charged $255 for a yearly subscription I haven’t used even the last year I was charged. I sent an email to the email indicated on my invoice and it says its an unmonitored box. I want to cancel my account and I want a refund.

Hello, I'm trying to complete the DocuSign Identity Verification to sign an employment contract. I am using my Egyptian passport for the identity verification. During the verification process, I received the error "We couldn't match your name." However, the "Name expected" and the "Name on your ID" shown on the verification page are exactly the same. Could you please explain why this error occurs even though the names match? Is this a known issue, or is there something I should check before trying again? I've attached a screenshot of the error for reference. Thank you for your help.

Hi,I would like to check if Docusign can generate the Documents without the envelope IDs. Our firm (ASCAP One) is using ‘Enterprise Pro For Salesforce’ Plan. Thank you.Regards,Naga Chaitanya Yepuri

Hi! I’m trying to access my free docusign account. I’m blocked at the 2-factor authentication step as the phone number isn’t correct. I called the assistance and they managed to deactivate it for me to access. but the moment i try to go the privacy settings to change the phone number for the 2-factor authentication I’m asked to sign in again and blocked again with the 2-factor authent. Do you know what i can do to fix this?

Is there a report where I can view the signers and see who has already signed and who is still pending?

The envelope created contains the developer name and email in the message body.Is there any setting to remove it. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have an active paid subscription that is being charged to me. I no longer know the email address associated with the account. I can verify the cardholder name, last four digits of the card, charge amount, charge dates, and provide proof of payment. I need the subscription cancelled because I cannot access the account. What’s the best way to do this?

A company sent me a form to fill out.  On the form there is a "SHARE %" number field and it says to enter as XXX.XX.  There are multiple lines but in total the percentages and must add up to 100%.  As I completed the entry a counter showed the cumulative percentage.  Upon entering the last value th counter showed 100%.  However I  could not submit the form due to this error message  "Required Number-XXX.XX-Invalid number."One thing I noticed is that of the five XXX.XX spaces, only the last two had blue backgroun and I could not put the pointer on the first three spaces which were white background.  Reported the problem to the sender and they kept telling me to try things that didn't make sense.  They even had the nerve to tell me to try to enter the values as XXX instead of XXX.XX. What’s the problem here?
